PLANT OILS SUITABLE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES?

 

 

Plant oils are formed in the fruits and seeds of plants. A lot of sun and heat are needed for optimal oil formation. Maybe it will not surprise you, that many of these oil makers grow in desert areas or regions such as the Mediterranean Sea. Take, for example, the prickly pear that loves to grow in the hot valleys of Morocco. Or the olive tree that fruits lustily in an Italian grove.

THE FUNCTION OF OIL

Among other things, oil has the function of protecting the plant. Humans also produce such a protective oil, namely sebum, our natural moisturiser. But the older you get, the less your skin produces. Plant oil can therefore be a perfect replacement. You nourish your skin cells so that your skin dries out less and retains moisture. Something every skin needs.

BEST BODY OILS

There are several plant oils suitable for every skin type. As a natural skincare specialist, I have applied quite a lot of them. The plant oils I have had the best experiences with for all skin types are apricot kernel oil, prickly pear oil and jojoba oil. None of these oils leaves a dirty, greasy film on your skin. Prickly pear oil is quite pricey. I use it as a booster for my facial skin and apricot and jojoba for my body.
